Introducing GARRY & JENNIFER CARMACK
GARRY CARMACK has worked stone for over two and a half decades as a craftsman and stone mason. Stone 2 Furniture opened a different kind of conversation with stone. A chance to hone a lifelong obsession and showcase the natural lines, layers of color, and timelessness, within forms people could actually make use of and cherish. Every piece is built for function, comfort, and beauty. That's the purpose and vision behind all of it.
JENNIFER CARMACK came to the work through design, and through the body and the senses. She loves the whole process — the tactile, physical hunt for the right stone, hauling it back to the workshop and beginning to work the shapes into something exquisite. The surprising colors, patterns, and textures that nature produces genuinely delight her. Showcasing that natural beauty is always the inspiration.
The way a space is set creates an energy. Whether it's a quiet corner for your morning coffee, a spot for family to gather, or a meditation garden, these pieces draw you in. The natural lines of the stone are always highlighted, and comfort is never an afterthought. Special care goes into ergonomically shaping full support and a deep seat which extend all the way to the back of the knees. The contoured back stone feels like something you simply melt into. It's a genuinely grounding and relaxing experience.
JENNIFER and GARRY met in Fort Collins in 2000 and have built a life, a family, and this work together. Stone 2 Furniture is, in its way, an extension of that partnership, two people with deep reverence for what the earth offers, and for what can be created by hand.

"I've been obsessed with stone for about 24 years now. When I was given the opportunity, for the last 3 and a half years, to apprentice for Jill with Stone 2 Furniture it was an amazing chance to hone my love of stone with a practical concept that could be cherished for a lifetime. It was a definite labor of love that gave me another level of understanding, of the beauty and timelessness of stone.
As a craftsman who practices masonry for a career it gave me the chance to really showcase the natural lines and raw colors within a realm I don’t get to share in day to day. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been together 24 years and have 2 amazing kids. We met in 2000 at Fiona’s Deli, in Fort Collins, Co. and it was butterflies and boogie from then on. We have two amazing kids Emma and Max, who are the epitome of life."
