A network of scenic trails with options for every skill level, winding through piñon and juniper forests just minutes from downtown.

Sun Mountain Trail

A shorter but steeper hike that rewards you with sweeping views of Santa Fe and the surrounding mountains.

9:00 AM | Breakfast at Cafe Pasqual's

After your hike, enjoy breakfast at Cafe Pasqual's, a James Beard Award-winning restaurant in the heart of downtown Santa Fe. Known for its colorful dining room and fresh, locally inspired Southwestern cuisine, it's been a favorite of locals and visitors alike for decades and the perfect place to ease into the rest of your day.

10:30 AM | Start at Wiford Gallery

Begin your Canyon Road adventure at Wiford Gallery, where complimentary parking for our guests makes it easy to start your day in one of Santa Fe's most popular art districts. Wander through the sculpture garden to experience monumental works, natural stone fountains, and nationally recognized LYMAN WHITAKER wind sculptures™ in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Then step inside to discover an ever-changing collection of contemporary paintings, bronze sculpture, and distinctive works by nationally recognized artists from across the country before continuing your walk along Canyon Road.

11:15 AM–3:00 PM | Wander Canyon Road

From Wiford Gallery, spend the afternoon exploring one of the country's most celebrated art districts. Stroll past historic adobe homes, discover more than 100 galleries, browse charming boutiques, and peek into hidden courtyards and sculpture gardens. There's no need to see everything. Take your time and enjoy the experience.

Local Tip: Some of Canyon Road's most memorable galleries are hidden behind adobe walls and wooden gates. If a courtyard catches your eye, step inside, you'll often discover beautiful gardens, working artists, and unexpected treasures.

1:00 PM | Lunch on Canyon Road

Choose one of the neighborhood cafés or enjoy a leisurely patio lunch before continuing your gallery stroll.

5:30 PM | Watch the Sunset

Before dinner, stop at Fort Marcy Park for one of Santa Fe's favorite local sunset views overlooking downtown and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

7:00 PM | Dinner at Sazón

End your day with dinner at Sazón, one of Santa Fe's most acclaimed restaurants. Chef Fernando Olea's celebrated Mexican cuisine and signature moles make it a memorable finale to your visit.
