Canyon Road
A Magical Half Mile of Fine Art

Canyon Road is a picturesque trail full of art galleries and restaurants, including the Wiford Gallery, leading to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This is one of the most picturesque destinations not far from the top Santa Fe hotels and downtown activities. Most of the Galleries and the restaurants are houses in traditional Adobe buildings. Canyon Road attracts more than 1.5 million visitors each year showcasing the fine art and historical elements of the city that are celebrated by visitors and locals. There are several outdoor festivals, art openings, and a magical Christmas Eve Farolito Walk that add to the charm of Canyon Road.

When you visit Wiford Gallery, you'll also be able to visit our neighbor, Project Tibet, and enjoy award-winning nearby restaurants including Ahmyo Wine Garden, Geronimo, The Compound, Thai on Canyon, El Farol, and The Teahouse. The Compound has welcomed Michelin-trained Executive Chef, Weston Ludeke, to take over the stove and lead The Compound into the future. Geronomio is the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond and Mobil/Forbes 4 Star Awards, voted Opentable "Top 100 Restaurants in the Country", and Trip Advisor "Top 10 Restaurants in the US."
