This is the second piece in a new series of texture work, using polished, flamed and hand chiseled techniques. The pot shaped piece is reminiscent of traditional themes found in native american art with more of a contemporary feel. The philosophy of catching water in the desert is one that is necessary and the result of doing so is one that yields a feeling of satisfaction. This piece shows me an ever-flowing container, brought on by just enough rain. Price includes fountain installation kit. |
